The home office is somehow both lonely and distracting (laundry? barking dogs?), coffee shops aren't cutting it anymore, and you're done retreating to your car for quiet phone calls.
Dayhouse Coworking is a serene, creative workspace in downtown Highland Park, IL in Chicago’s North Shore suburbs established in 2019. Amenities include private offices, conference rooms, mail reception, a mind-body room, kids programs in a soundproofed room, lactation room, and more. Dayhouse is an easy walk to downtown Highland Park shops and the Metra station. We’re woman-owned, and open to all. #makeyourdaybetter at Dayhouse!

our members
Among our members you’ll find writers, tech founders, real estate professionals, architects, and more. Some are small business owners, others work remotely for larger corporations. We get together virtually and in-person as able for an array of programing such as work sprints, member happy hour, business speakers, and masterminds. Many are parents and appreciate our holistic approach to member services (i.e. we know you’re more than just your job title). We’re all drawn to Dayhouse’s creative atmosphere and friendly, supportive community.

We're housed in a vintage industrial space, unlike anything else on the North Shore. Inside our c. 1930 building, you'll find exposed brick and beams, big windows, and gorgeous wood floors (think West Loop vibes with suburban convenience). Dayhouse is an easy walk to downtown Highland Park shops, the Metra station, and the best amenities of this vibrant lakeside town.

Jen Luby
Founder (left)
Jen is a community builder passionate about supporting working parents. With a background in communications and event production, she excels in making connections and bringing people together in a hospitality-centric environment. The concept for Dayhouse arose from her own desire to find a supportive environment while (attempting to) work from home. She serves on multiple philanthropic boards supporting cultural institutions in and around the Chicago area and lives in Highland Park with her family.
Jessica Erickson
Community Engagement Director (right)
Jessica drives community engagement for Dayhouse. A master bridge-builder, she uses her background in non-profit fundraising to cultivate "member happiness" and community through her never-ending list of superpowers.
Jen and Jess met over 10 years ago. Jessica had just created a new young professionals board at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and Jen was a charter member. Now they work together as Team Dayhouse, and are active in the coworking movement as leaders and learners. Stop by sometime and say hello!

DEDICATED DESKS & PRIVATE OFFICES
Dedicated desks – $389/mo
These large desks are a semi-private place to permanently stash your stuff. Bring your monitor, favorite chair cushion, whatever you need to be comfy and productive — no one else will ever sit there. Dedicated desks include all the Level 3 perks above, such as complimentary phone booth usage. Sign up for a Level 3 membership here, then select a dedicated desk as an add-on for no additional charge!
Private offices – price varies
Our beautiful offices are semi-furnished, filled with natural light, and include complimentary mail and package reception. All utilities are included, and billing is on a monthly basis, with a 60 day cancellation notice. Discounts are available for female entrepreneurs. Office membership includes all the Level 3 perks above.
Office #7 (available 10/1): 150 sq.ft. with exterior window, $1099/mo.
Office #8 (available now): 190 sq.ft. with exterior window, membership for 3 team members, $1639/mo.
